If you had the previous Hawaiian Airlines app, tap on the App Store or Google Play buttons above. You'll be prompted to update the app. Once installed, the new app has an icon that looks like this:
On the Home screen, you'll see information for your next flight, including a button to check in. The check-in button appears when check-in is available, beginning 24 hours before your flight.
If you don't see any flight information on the Home screen, tap "Check In" to check in with your confirmation code and last name. You can also tap "Sign in" in the upper right to pull up trips saved in your HawaiianMiles account.
You can pull up your Mobile Boarding Pass by tapping on "My Trips." Boarding passes are available after you have checked in for your flight.
Yes, you can check in for International flights beginning 24 hours prior to departure time.
On the boarding pass screen, iOS users may tap"Add to Wallet" in the lower left. Then select which passengers' boarding passes you would like to add to your Apple Wallet. "Add to Wallet" is not yet available for Android devices.
The app can only display boarding passes for flights that are operated by Hawaiian Airlines. If the flight is operated by another carrier, you will not be able to access those boarding passes through the app.
Mobile boarding passes can be used at all our Hawaii and North America airport locations.
You can select which passengers to check in. You can check everyone in or just yourself.
After you check in, the app will display boarding passes for all checked-in passengers. From the My Trips screen, select your trip, then swipe left or right to see different passengers.
Yes, once you have checked them in, they can pull up their own boarding passes by tapping on "My Trips."
Check-in for certain kinds of reservation is not supported on the app. If the app directs you to HawaiianAirlines.com for check-in, follow the steps on the screen to check-in. You will be returned to the app after completing check in.
When you check in on the app, you can add and pay for each traveler's 1st and 2nd checked bags. Then print your bag tags at an airport kiosk.
If you are eligible for a free checked bag, or if you have special items to check or more than 2 bags per person, you will not be able to use the app for those items. Please complete check-in at an airport kiosk or on HawaiianAirlines.com.
Bag tracking is not yet available.
On the Home screen, tap "Sign In" in the upper right. For now, you need to sign in using your 9-digit HawaiianMiles number and password, or username and password. For now, your email address cannot be used to sign in.
On iPhones, you can enable TouchID or FaceID to log in to your account without having to input your HawaiianMiles number and password.
The app syncs with the upcoming trips in your HawaiianMiles account and lets you view your current miles balance. If you need to manage your account, you can click on "Book" to open HawaiianAirlines.com in your mobile browser. Then click the icon in the upper right to sign in to your full HawaiianMiles profile.
Tap the "Flight Status" button in the icon bar, then search for their flight by flight number or route. Tap "Add to Watchlist" to save it for quick reference and receive notifications on your phone if there are any changes.
You will be prompted to opt in when you start the app for the first time. You can always turn notifications on or off by going into your device's settings, under "Notifications."

Flight changes and cancellations cannot be done through the app. For changes, visit HawaiianAirlines.com. To cancel, please call our Reservations Department.
Currently, maps and walking directions are available for the following airports: Honolulu (HNL); Kahului, Maui (OGG); and Los Angeles (LAX).
Most features of the Hawaiian Airlines mobile app work with smart phones only. If you have a tablet, you can use the app on your tablet to access in-flight entertainment on A321neo flights.
These are lists of checked-in passengers in order of priority for standby seats and upgrades, respectively. Like most airlines, we identify passengers on these lists by their first initial and the first three letters of their last name.
